Devon flower honey – Set
Collected from the hedgerows and pasture fields of North Devon this finely granulated, delicately flavoured honey will set hard with time.
Devon Flower Honey is one of the most popular honeys, the bees make this during the summer months when they are gathering pollen from the hedgerows and white clover fields surrounding them.
It has a mild but tasty flavour and has been left to naturally granulate, giving it a lovely thick texture. Perfect for smothering over hot toast.
Quince Honey Farm,
The largest honey farm in Devon established in 1949, this family business was established by a WW2 veteran, George Wallace, who had only 2 beehives and a lot of ambition. This ambition paid off as by the 70s he had his son Paddy joined the mission whilst the number of hives rocketed to 1500. In 2004 Paddys Son Ian joined the team full time.
They are renowned and acknowledged by beekeepers across the globe to be the most innovative in the world. Together they made George's dream of being one of Britain's leading honey farms.
